areas of work
law, policy and advocacy
Building bridges between systems and people
With a background in law and international human rights, I've worked on legal research, policy analysis, and civic advocacy - from making Indian legislation accessible to everyday citizens to facilitating dialogue between governments and civil society. I'm drawn to the places where law meets lived experience, and to the work of making those encounters less alienating.
strategic outreach and partnerships
Connecting the right people around the right work
I've built and sustained partnerships with civil society organizations, citizen groups, government stakeholders, and subject matter experts across India and Canada. I've designed fellowships and workshops for young civic leaders, managed multi-platform communications, and helped organizations develop strategic plans that are grounded in both ambition and reality.
ethical storytelling and communication
Making complex things feel real
Good communications doesn't simplify - it translates. I help organizations find language that is honest, clear, and worth reading. Whether it's a campaign, a policy explainer, a newsletter, or a video series, I think carefully about who holds the narrative, whose dignity is preserved, and what story will actually land with the people who need to hear it.
Campaigns that turn supporters into communities
digital fundraising
I design and execute digital fundraising campaigns - email appeals, monthly giving journeys, lead generation, and donor retention - for mission-driven organizations. My approach combines data, narrative, and an understanding of what actually moves people to give, give again, and stay. I've worked across monthly, annual, major, and legacy giving programs, always with an eye on both the numbers and the human being behind them.
