Suraksha Kosh

With the support of the 2023 Gender Bender Grant from Sandbox Collective and Goethe-Institut, I conceived and began developing Suraksha Kosh, an illustrated bilingual (English–Hindi) lexicon for survivors of domestic violence. The project is designed as a resource that explains the legal terminology survivors encounter when navigating the criminal justice system—whether in police stations, courtrooms, or official documentation. At its core is a simple belief: no one should have to face these experiences without understanding the language being used around and about them. Though still a work in progress, Suraksha Kosh remains the project I am most proud of.

Civis Annual Report 2022-23

I've designed several illustrations for Civis, but this annual report cover remains to be my most favourite one. Diverse hands rising from the dome of the old Indian Parliament building, each holding a speech bubble - an image about the diversity in opinion all coming to the parliament to collectively make policy. I wanted something that felt warm and hopeful rather than confrontational, because that's what Civis' work actually is: an invitation, not a demand. The style is deliberately accessible - bold lines, different shades of blue signifying the different opinions, all legible at a glance.

Climate Voices

Co-authored a handbook explaining how Indian citizens can participate in the country's climate policymaking process, written for people who have never encountered these systems before and need to understand them quickly and practically. I also designed and led the complete outreach and dissemination strategy for the handbook, with a deliberate focus on WhatsApp and radio outreach to reach rural audiences. The decision to centre radio wasn't logistical; it was a statement about whose participation the handbook was actually designed to enable. The project combined legal research, accessible writing, visual communication, and audience-first distribution strategy, which is, in many ways, the fullest expression of how I work.
